Director of Human Resources Professional
Needed to lead and direct the day-to-day activities and operations of the human resources department, including: administering employee benefits; recruiting and hiring; monitoring agency-wide compliance with laws, policies, procedures, and standards for human resources; employee relations; compensation and salary administration; policy and procedure development; employee communication; maintaining personnel records and information; developing and implementing standardized business practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives related to human resources for the agency; and reporting on department activities to the Executive Team. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field, plus five (5) years relevant experience and comprehensive knowledge of human resources disciplines/contemporary human resources management practices and federal and state laws governing human resources practices is required.
Employment Specialist (approx. 20 hours/week)--Supported Employment program--ARRA funding
Needed to provide training and job support services to consumers with disabilities. Emphasis is on sales and marketing skills to identify work experience opportunities and recruitment of employers, training of job-readiness skills, career exploration, and providing vocational training to assist individuals on established work experiences. BA/BS degree, plus one (1) year of experience in working with people with disabilities is required. Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communications skills are also required.
Case Manager--Wake Brain Injury Support Services program
Needed to provide group and individual case management activities for persons with brain injuries, including service coordination and goal plan development, implementation, and monitoring. Must have knowledge of area resources and local organizations; job seeking and retention skills; and cognitive retraining activities. Two (2) years experience in working with people with neurological disorders and one (1) year case management experience and BA/BS required.
